Polyglots Team เป็นผู้อยู่เบื้องหลังการแปล WordPress Ecosystem (Core, Theme, Plugin) ให้เป็นภาษาต่างๆ มากกว่าร้อยภาษา ซึ่งจะเป็นไปไม่ได้เลย หากไม่มีอาสาสมัครที่เป็นเจ้าของภาษาของแต่ละภาษาจากทั่วโลกเข้ามาร่วมกันแปล เพื่อทำให้งานนี้สำเร็จ
The polyglots team is responsible translating WordPress into hundreds of languages. It’s a big job, which is why we need help from native speakers to make it possible.
The polyglots team consists of volunteers from around the globe who take care of translations for a specific language (see a list of translation teams). Find out how you can become a part of your local team, translating WordPress into your own language. If you are a developer, you can also assist with creating the tools that make translations easier.

2. Documentations

Documentation มีหน้าที่รับผิดชอบเอกสารประกอบ (Documentation) ของ WordPress โดยมีเป้าหมายปัจจุบันคือ การยกเลิกการใช้ Codex (เอกสารอ้างอิงเก่า), การเสริมสร้างเนื้อหาของคู่มือ Block Editor (เครื่องมือแก้ไขบล็อก), และการแปลเอกสารเป็นภาษาท้องถิ่น หากคุณสนใจในหัวข้อเหล่านี้ หรือต้องการศึกษาคู่มือผู้ใช้งานปัจจุบัน (User Guide) คุณสามารถเข้าร่วมโต๊ะ (ทีม) นี้ได้
Good documentation lets people help themselves when they get stuck. The docs team is responsible for creating documentation and is always on the look-out for writers. The blog has the discussion around the team’s current projects.
Due to the wide audience for the handbooks, whatever your skill set or desire, the chances are you’d make a great contributor. We’re particularly looking for the following:
- Writers
- Editors
- WordPress developers
- Front-end developers
- Designers and UXers
- And of course, feedback of any kind!
Currently, the Docs team is focusing on HelpHub which will be replacing the Codex.

Wanted: Enthusiastic practitioners with skills in code, testing, UX and mobile.

4. Photo

Photo Directory มีหน้าที่กลั่นกรอง (moderate) รูปภาพทุกภาพที่ถูกส่งเข้ามาใน WordPress Photo Directory, ดูแลและปรับปรุงเว็บไซต์ Directory เอง, รวมถึงจัดหาแหล่งข้อมูลและเอกสารประกอบเพื่อสอน, ส่งเสริม, และอำนวยความสะดวกให้กับผู้ที่ต้องการส่งภาพเข้าร่วมเป็น Contributor คุณสามารถเข้าร่วมทีมนี้และเรียนรู้วิธีการมีส่วนร่วมได้เลย
The Photo Directory Team moderates every photo submitted to the WordPress Photo Directory, maintains and improves the directory site itself, and provides resources and documentation to educate, encourage, and facilitate photo contributors. You can join the Team and learn how to get involved.

5. Support
Team lead: Akramul Hasan (wpfy)
Support มีหน้าที่ให้ความช่วยเหลือผู้ใช้งานใน Support Forums ของ WordPress เพื่อให้พวกเขาใช้งานเว็บไซต์ WordPress ของตนเองได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพสูงสุด ทีมงานจะตอบคำถามทุกประเภทเท่าที่ทำได้ ตั้งแต่คำถามพื้นฐานเกี่ยวกับ WordPress ไปจนถึงหัวข้อการพัฒนาขั้นสูง ทุกคนล้วนรู้คำตอบของบางสิ่ง! คุณสามารถเข้าร่วมทีม Support และร่วมเป็น Contributor ได้อย่างง่ายดาย
The Support Team is responsible for helping users at WordPress’ Support Forums so they can make the most out of their WordPress websites. They answer everything they can, from basic WordPress questions to advanced development topics. Everyone knows the answer to something!

6. Plugin

Plugins ทำหน้าที่เป็นเหมือนผู้คัดกรองและเป็นสายตาคู่ใหม่ที่คอยตรวจสอบปลั๊กอินที่ส่งเข้ามาใหม่ รวมถึงตรวจสอบการละเมิดด้านความปลอดภัยหรือแนวทางปฏิบัติที่ได้รับการรายงานเข้ามา คุณสามารถเริ่มต้นเป็น Contributor ให้กับทีม Plugins ได้ง่ายๆ โดยการรายงานปัญหาด้านความปลอดภัยของปลั๊กอินเช่นกัน
The Plugins Team acts as gate-keepers and fresh eyes on newly submitted plugins and reviews any reported security or guideline violations.
You can start contributing to the Plugin Team by reporting the Plugin security issue as well.

7. Hosting

8. Trining
Team lead: Muhibul Haque (devmuhib)
ทีม Training (ทีมฝึกอบรม) มีหน้าที่สร้างแผนการสอนที่สามารถดาวน์โหลดได้ (downloadable lesson plans) และสื่อการเรียนรู้ที่เกี่ยวข้อง เพื่อให้ผู้สอนนำไปใช้ในสภาพแวดล้อมจริง เช่น งาน Meetups และ Workshops นอกจากนี้ แพลตฟอร์ม “Learn WordPress” ก็เน้นไปที่สื่อการฝึกอบรม (Training Material) ด้วยเช่นกัน

The Training Team creates downloadable lesson plans and related materials for instructors to use in live environments such as meetups and workshops. Also, “Learn WordPress” is focused on Training Material.
You can join this Team and help create training materials, online workshops, etc.

9. Community
Team lead: Mainul Kabir Aion (aion11)
ทีมนี้มีหน้าที่ดูแลงานกิจกรรมที่เป็นทางการ (official events), โครงการให้คำปรึกษา (mentorship programs), โครงการด้านความหลากหลาย (diversity initiatives), การเข้าถึง Contributor ใหม่ ๆ, และวิธีการอื่น ๆ ในการ ขยายชุมชน WordPress ให้เติบโต

This Team oversees official events, mentorship programs, diversity initiatives, contributor outreach, and other ways of growing the WordPress community.
