แคมป์ฮับ จุดนัดพบของเด็กค่าย ก่อตั้งขึ้นโดยพี่บอส นักศึกษาคณะเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ สถาบันเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าคุณทหารลาดกระบัง (ปัจจุบันจบการศึกษาแล้ว) ไอเดียของเว็บไซต์แคมป์ฮับนั้นเกิดจากประสบการณ์เมื่อตอนที่อยู่มัธยม ที่อยากไปเข้าค่ายต่างๆ แต่ไม่รู้ว่าจะไปหาข่าวสารได้จากที่ไหน กว่าจะรู้ว่ามีค่ายก็ปิดรับสมัครไปแล้ว จึงเกิดแรงบันดาลใจให้เว็บไซต์แคมป์ฮับเกิดขึ้นมา
เมื่อพี่บอสอยู่ชั้นปีที่ 3 ได้ไปเข้าค่าย Young Webmaster Camp (YWC 10) ซึ่งเป็นค่ายวิชาชีพเว็บมาสเตอร์ โดยสมาคมผู้ดูแลเว็บไทย ไอเดียนี้ถูกยกขึ้นมาอีกครั้งในการหารือในกลุ่มเพื่อสร้างโปรเจคต์เว็บไซต์ในค่าย แต่ก็ถูกตีตกไปเนื่องจากมีข้อติดขัดหลายประการ หลังจากผ่านการเข้าค่าย YWC 10 มาได้สองเดือน พี่บอสจึงได้นำความรู้และสิ่งที่ได้จากค่ายนี้ เช่น โดเมนฟรีจาก DotArai และ พื้นที่เว็บไซต์ฟรีจาก PatHosting.com เปิดเว็บไซต์แคมป์ฮับขึ้นในวันที่ 7 ธันวาคม 2555 และพัฒนาต่อเนื่องมาจนถึงปัจจุบัน
